Evangelism & Outreach
Why do we put a high emphasis on outreach and evangelism? The bible says that “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved” (John 3:16-17 NKJV). God desires that none shall perish—meaning everlasting life. If you want to see the power of the holy spirit move, then come and join us for street ministry and other creative ministry opportunities.
Big Great Lakes & Special Needs Ministry
Mission: To provide an educational environment that creates meaningful jobs, build a sense of belonging and validating dignity and respect for adults with disabilities. This ministry is important and it matters greatly to God “Defend the poor and fatherless; Do justice to the afflicted and needy” (Psalm 82:3 NKJV). Adults with special needs are some of the most incredibly gifted, talented, loving people that will change your life if you take the time to get to know them.
Women’s Ministry
The purpose for the ministry-To connect women of all ages and all walks of life for the purpose of building relationships according to the love of our father.
Mission:
create an environment where women can connect with each other, build each other up in the Lord, encourage one another in our walk with the Lord, to grow and empower each other in the Lord.
Bible verse:
1st Thessalonians 5:11-“Therefore encourage one another and build one another up, justas you are doing”
Discipleship Ministry
“Why do we put a high emphasis on outreach and evangelism? We love God and we love people, and Jesus said “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit” (Mathew 28:19 NKJV). The key word is to go and we are a church on the go. There are souls to save and our time here on earth is short. We are a church that goes and makes disciples of Christ.
Agape Agricultural Program Ministry
Rooted in love and service, the Agape Agricultural Program is a ministry dedicated to growing and sourcing fresh, organic produce to bless the body of Christ and our local community—especially those in need. Born from a passion to provide nutritious food and empower others, the program also teaches participants how to cultivate their own gardens, creating sustainability and self-sufficiency. With a future greenhouse will enable us to extend operations through the winter months. This year-round initiative not only feeds the body but also opens the door to feed the soul, offering every encounter as an opportunity to share God’s love and welcome new people into the Agape family.
Senior Living Facilities Ministry
Our ministry team focuses on reaching the people who often get forgotten, which are the elderly population. The church provides a vital function in caring for people who are “shut in” and cannot attend services. Our care team can visit, and we would love to pray for you.
Events & Community Engagement
Agape Gathering Place hosts a variety of events aimed at fostering community and spiritual growth. From worship nights and prayer gatherings to community service projects and seasonal celebrations, our events are opportunities to connect, serve, and grow together in faith.
